| Açıklama | WHAT IS A CITY?The city, which is macro-scaled and limited by the face of the earth and sky, is a architectural element. Each city is quite different world. They have different inner world, existence story and conditions, so each city has own identity and characteristic. Its characteristic features and differences may be local, cultural or architectural. According to Weber, an expression that can define all cities is impossible but can define some cities and their types are possible. The definitions of the city can be divided into two groups. They are concrete city definitions and abstract city definitions. Concrete city definitions are seemed a live organism. A city does not exist without concrete and abstract elements. |
