| Açıklama | PREPARING THE ELECTRIC ENGINE You know that turning of the bobbin between the handles of the U magnet produces electric. In this energy production we take benefit from magnetic effect of electric current. One of the devices of converting the electric energy to motion energy is electric engine. Let’s see the preparing of electric engine for understand how it’s working. Preparing Electric Engine: 1- Cut the cork and makes a canal for wrapping up the wire to cork. Insert the knitting needle to the center of cork. Thrust two pins into the top of the cork. Than wrap the copper wire over the cork for 30 times. Attach the wire with the pins to the insulator part of the copper. 2- Use clay or play dough for lift up the magnet. Let touch the points of the wire to pin. Drive a rail onto a wooden piece crossly. Put the pivot on these cross rails. Make this operation for other point of the cork. Tie the cables to the pins than touch these cables to the pole of the battery. 3- Did you pay attention that the current in the wraps of the rectangle shaped pivot is opposite way. Working of electric engine is related with pushing of the same poles to each other and pulling of the opposite poles to each other of the magnet. There have to be one U magnet and a pivot, which has a magnetic characteristic by the effect of electric current for realize this subject. The pivot, which is used in electric engine called “Armature”. The magnetic area of the armature and the magnetic area of the U magnet affect each other than the armature start turning. Electric engine is using in lots of vehicles and machines that we use in our life mostly. Can you think a refrigerator, a washing machine or vacuum cleaner without an electric engine? Do you know?
