STORY IN NOWHERE LAND Şükran, is a lady at her fourties, working in the central train staion in İstanbul. She is fond of his only son Veysel who is working in a small workshop in out skirt of the city. Şükran is always in great tender for his son because she suffered a lot of his husbands political dealings in the past. She brought Veysel up, with great efforts to keep him away any political influences,after the death of his Kurdish husband. She always thinks that Veysel is clean. And one day Veysel disappears... She tries to find him everywhere. She belives that this is a normal vanishing though some imply reverse, and insists to follow offical means to find him.Nevertheless she can not get any reply. There is no record of his arrestment in the police, and they say nothing about his disappearing. They only show her some dead bodies found anonymously murdered , to identify him. Şükran faints as she sees one of the corpes of which his face has been smashed in unrecognizable way; but she insists to say that is not his son Veysel. But Şule, girlfriend of Veysel, is sure that is Veysels body. She is really angry at Şule for her in... |
